[Sometime shortly before lunch, an explosion of suds and soapy water escapes the laundry room, leaking out into the hallway. The immediate cause may or may not be Mason, who stands ankle-deep in the flood, missing his shirt and watching in horrified fixation as his own clothes not only wash themselves, but overload all the machines.]
This was not my fault.
...Honestly!!
But I should really like someone corporeal to come do my washing so that this does not happen again.
If anything, it's the Barge's fault for making its machines so bloody complicated. Who the fuck has ghosts doing their fuckin' laundry?
[He sits down in the suds, watching the self-washing laundry in perplexed hopelessness. Might as well take a bath while he's at it]

Date: 2014-06-05 11:14 am (UTC)What triggered it? You have to have done or said something to set it off.

Date: 2014-06-05 11:20 am (UTC)An' then it did. I didn't know you did that sort of thing here.

Date: 2014-06-06 02:36 am (UTC)[Which, he's realizing, probably means there's nothing he can actually do to stop it. But, maybe Mason can?]
Maybe you can wish it to stop now. Try it!

Ah hell, I can last to the end of the damn flood, but I still ain't cleaning this up.
[He hefts his laundry basket back up then gives Mason another once over. They guy is sopping wet and soapy. It's not really his problem but...]
Mason, why don't you go take a real shower?
[Spaaaaam]
Date: 2014-06-13 11:08 am (UTC)Or, bath, as the case may be.
[Spaaaaam]
Date: 2014-06-16 10:03 pm (UTC)[He hurriedly adds:] Don't you dare do that here! That's why bathing is supposed to be private.
[Spaaaaam]
Date: 2014-06-16 10:25 pm (UTC)You've a funny mind over what constitutes proper bathing. We're both gents, aren't we?
[Spaaaaam]
Date: 2014-06-17 11:14 am (UTC)Doesn't mean I care to see any more than I already have. Besides, anyone could come in here.
[Spaaaaam]
Date: 2014-06-17 11:27 am (UTC)Yeah, so? I'm not shy. Issmy body. I'm not doing anything particularly embarrassing with it, am I?
[Spaaaaam]
Date: 2014-06-18 11:31 pm (UTC)Mason...you don't want me to answer that.
[Spaaaaam]
Date: 2014-06-18 11:32 pm (UTC)Well. I believe my work here is done.
[Spaaaaam]
Date: 2014-06-18 11:38 pm (UTC)[But, since he doesn't think there's really anything they can do to stop this craziness if a flood is involved, he's not going to press the issue. He's just going to take his laundry and go.]
