The literal one. In 1966, right, I'd just taken a fuckload of little pills, an' one of my mates had told me that the way you get high is how oxygen flows to the brain. That's what carries the high. The more oxygen, the more high you get.

So me, what I'm thinking is if I have a way to get more oxygen to the brain, I can get that ultimate high. The one you only experience the once.

So I strap on a pair of goggles, get my dad's old powerdrill out of the garage, an' start doing a little trepanning.
